Springfield Catholic Lady Irish Soccer was established in 1998 and has maintained a winning record throughout its 28 year history. The Lady Irish Soccer program has won 21 District Championships and advanced to the State Final Four 11 times. They have earned two Class 1 State Championships and finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the state 3 times each. In 2023 they advanced to the Class 3 State Quarterfinals for the first time in program history after a Sectional Class 3 berth in 2021. 2025 marked the third consecutive Class 3 State Quarterfinals appearance.

The Lady Irish recorded their 500th program win in a thrilling PK victory over Logan-Rogersville on Tuesday, April 21st 2025 in Rogersville, MO. They celebrated this milestone on Thursday, May 7th with a recognition ceremony prior to the start of their home game against Bolivar where they continued their winning tradition with a 6-0 victory.

Several Springfield Catholic alumnae were in attendance as well as current head coach Mackenzie Serrano (2025-current) who has maintained the winning tradition with a record of 26-10-1 over her two seasons.  The founding father of Irish Soccer, Dr. Ben Timson was also recognized. Coach Timson started the program in 1998 and coached through 2020 when COVID canceled the season. He returned from 2022-2024. His career record is 444-157-21 (0.713) as head coach of the Lady Irish. Mike Hines served as head coach from 2021-2022 and led the Lady Irish to the 2021 District Championship during is 31-10-2 (0.720) tenure.
