The boys and girls Cross Country teams competed in the Class 3 District 2 race on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at Gene Pray Memorial Golf Course in El Dorado Springs, MO. 

The girls team placed 3rd, just 3 points behind Houston High School. They were led by senior Emma Belk who placed 3rd individually in a time of 20:23.2 and junior Elliana Lygrisse  who finished 10th in 21:58.75. Belk and Lygrisse earned All District Honors.  Junior Dorothy Reisner just missed the All District team with a 31st placing in a time of 23:11.68 with Leah Hicks finishing 33rd. 

The boys team took the Class 3 District 2 Championship with a 16 point margin over Osage High School.  The 2025 Mid Lakes Conference Champion Fair Grove Eagles placed 3rd, 27 points behind the Irish. Catholic placed 2nd at the 2025 conference championships, just 3 points behind Fair Grove. 

Kyle Hathcock placed 2nd in a time of 16:24.57 behind Hollister's Sinry Mendoza. Marcus Johnson ran a 17:09.31 to place 4th. Kyle Hathcock, Marcus Johnson, Gavin Pyck, and Andrew Jones, all finished in the top 30 to make them All District runners. The 5th boy, John Paul Haik-Frick, placed 31st to help secure the win.

Both teams will compete in the Class 3 State Championships on Friday, November 7th at Gans Creek in Columbia, MO.
