Bio

Gavin entered the Catholic school system in kindergarten, going all the way up through to high school from SEAS. He was always an exceptional student, and really tried for the grades he got. What he has always loved most is math, and has always excelled in the subject. In elementary he took tests to show he was in the top 1%, in middle school he when to math counts state twice in a row, and in high school he continued on eventually winning a math competition all together. When he was in middle school, he discovered his love for running, and has been running varsity every year since. In high school, he has had to over come a lot of obstacles to improve, but is getting his time down each and every time. In freshmen year, he improved by 2 and a half minutes to end around 19:00. Going into track he had some bad injuries, but really pushed it in the summer. He is ready now more than ever, and is prepared to help his team get back to state again! He still doesn’t know what he will do in college, but he is striving to get good enough for a running career and/or math career. Right now, all he is focused on is getting better, to insure he becomes the best version of himself.
