The SCHS Girls Golf advances to the State Tournament in Sedalia on Oct. 20-21 after a solid team performance at the District tournament. The Lady Irish finished 2nd (321) to Ray-Pec (314) out of Kansas City.  "Ray-Pec is a really good team that deserves recognition.  They were just a little better today than we were.  The girls achieved they're goals to advance to their 4th state tournament appearance." Ava Tiedemann led the way with a solid 73, and Grace Tiedemann followed with a 75 and earned the MSHSAA All-District team (Top 15).  "Both Ava and Grace played well today in great conditions."  Sarah Han followed with 86, Brinley Scott 87, and Olivia Tiedemann 90.  Another great day for the Lady Irish.
