Springfield Catholic dominated Class 1 District 6 on their home court on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 with a 5-1 final over Greenwood in the Championships to advance to the team State Quarterfinals. 

The Irish men defeated The Summit Preparatory 5-0 in the quarterfinals on Monday, May 4th. They advanced to the finals with a 5-1 victory over New Covenant Academy the following day.

The Irish are led by freshman Will Hein who also earned an individual berth to the State tournament.  Sophomore Drew Smotherman and juniors Davis Riedy, Logan Phipps and Cooper Conklin also contributed to the team's District Championship over Greenwood. 

The Irish will face Bolivar at Bolivar in the State Quarterfinals on Monday, May 11th.
